january awakes. / 8:26 PM
And so it has begun.
January has come and gone like the
wind and yes I know I haven't
been blogging and keeping you guys updated on what's going on over here,
but as promised I have returned to update on a few of the more important
events that has happened this month.
Before I start the photo
-diarrhoea I want to share some great news.
I have been invited to audition at the
Manhattan School of Music, and I'll be leaving on the 24th of Febuary to
New York to stay with friends.
My audition is on the 4th of March so please pray that everything goes
well and I do my very best and that my body and voice will be in good
condition so I won't be bothered by any such problems.
I'll be back around the 14th of March and of course I'll tell you all about the
trip and the audition and all the other exciting things I'll be doing which
I have already begun planning. Haha!
The first thing I'll spew pictures on is the recent gathering of a special group
of people for a barbecue in tribute to
Jarrod Hong who will be leaving to
Australia to study next month.
C*** 2007 man.

Yes that's the lot of us.
Please ignore Sheryl's wannabe-preets expression. Haha.
Enoch we missed you that night but we'll be having another big lamb party
this Saturday at my place so try to make it this time ya?

The chef at the pit that evening was alas my twin who being truly quite
insane that night. Yes perhaps insanity runs in the family.
Maybe he's just unfortunately a little crazy.
Either way we didn't stop laughing that night especially when
Mimi pulled
up in an
Ikea truck. Hahaha.
(Alright all these are private jokes and inuendos that none of you save those
in C*** will know so don't bother trying to understand. Skip skip.)

Yes this is Sheryl.
Sheryl thinks she's very
preetsand therefore deserves special mention and a big picture in this entry
just like in the other entry last year when we struck a similar pose.
(Won't you look at that!)
That's pretty much it, so Enoch please remember to try to take time off
your busy Canadian schedule to make it down to my place next week
for some lamb and wine okay?
Another somewhat fun thing was the ACJC CCA Exhibition which really
happened a long time ago but I didn't post about it and I don't want the
nice photos to go to waste.
The special thing about this year's exhibition was that I managed to
get the J2 choir guys to learn and sing Insomniac by Straight No Chaser
which I spent many a sleepless nights transcribing.
I think they did a great job of it for the 3 days of work we had.
Anyway here's a picture I like a lot that I'm sure lots of you will find interesting.

What a blast from the past.
I honestly never thought I'd ever wear my uniform again but alas who could
resist such a photo opportunity. The uniform belonged to Ernest's thinner
self I believe. My old self gave his uniform to Star Cruises so they could
patch their sails.

Here's a collection of very special pictures mostly from the CCA Exhibition
and the last one at the bottom is of course the Alumni barbecue at Geof's
place where the whole lot of us involved in the carolling season last year
came together to celebrate the year together.
Before I end of I have a few photos I'd like to dedicate to Karno Widjaja
who so loves to post unflattering photographs of me on his blog.

That's Karno on the right looking all sure of himself and right on the money.

And here's Karno now caught in one of Bong's questionable items of fashion.
Oh my goodness Karno what were you thinking?
I am really looking forward to what this year has to bring.
A year of victories and of possibilities I'm sure it will be.
I'll update more soon I promise and keep in touch.
See you all around soon in one way or another.
