rescue relief! / 10:29 PM
Boy am I glad to be back!
My return to my blog signals that the worst is officially over in terms of
the business I recently had to worry about. This is not to say there's not more
to come but it does fortunately mean that a very hectic period is over and
I'm taking a short and well deserved breath of fresh air for a few days.
First things first, you are ALL invited to the upcoming concert I'm singing in.
It's the annual concert of the students of my voice teacher Jeong Ae Ree.
It's on this coming Friday the 8th of December 2006 at
YMS Auditorium
54 Waterloo Street
7.00pm
S$15 Free Seating (so come a bit earlier to get seats)
Please let me know ASAP if you would like to attend.
I'll be singing two art songs and I promise at least one will be in English.

To elaborate further about my recent projects that have clogged up
most of my days, I am relieved to announce that I have finished most
if not all of my university applications unless I decide to apply to more
colleges this month. Also my SATs are over and I would really like to thank
Benjamin, Minglong and Ernest who helped me revise for my math component.
Thanks you guys really saved my life. I actually think I did pretty well for the math.
Now on to more important events!

The event of the season was of course the wedding of Joseph and Rachel!
I am still sour about not being able to attend their wedding ceremony on
Saturday morning but the wedding dinner that night was magical.
Obviously the alumni turned up in full force and some of us even sang a
surprise song for Rachel, with Jospeh singing the solo of course.
He was pretty much singing the entire night actually. Every time he got his hands
on a microphone he was singing a love song to Rachel. It was like they were really
in another world all by themselves and we were just spectators. Haha.
Here's the beautiful couple at the dinner...
God bless the couple.
And here are other photographs we took that night.
Me, Suz and Mr Sum.
Here's Mr Sum and Suzanna (who had a rather special night as well),
looking gorgeous in that dress.
What a rare sight indeed.
Gina
Gina Pearl who was still doing her project work at the dinner.
What can I say? University life isn't all it's cut out to be?
Some of the Alumni.
More alumni. All looking great I must say.
Now a picture I took with fellow (older) tenor Kokheng.
Kokheng and I
Here's picture I took with some of the people I respect the most in my life.
The Madams.
Mrs Wilson, Ms Gracia, Mrs Tay and Lao Shi all came to celebrate the union
of the lovely couple. Ms Gracia even went on stage to say a few words,
words that I'm sure Joseph and Rachel will probably never forget.
Geof you are such a sucker for such things you would have wanted to be there.

That's about it for the wedding photos.
Qinghao would have heaps more, perhaps one day we can all look at the photo
album when it's out. I would like to catch a glimpse of the morning photos myself.
Another recent event worth mentioning would be the choir concert St. Gabriels'
had with Presbyterian High and Holy Innocents High School.
The overall concert was quite satisfying. Of course there were the usual mistakes
here and there and more growth is definitely in store but I'm happy that they
have finally risen up to the challenge. I gave them 7.5/10 based on current potential.
Chloe Mercy came to watch the concert, probably on a whim but
thanks for coming anyway Chloe! Haha.
St. Gabs Concert.
The other guys is Joel who played piano for a lot of the songs sung that night
by the choirs. Nice chap.

That's all I have to say for now. Please let me know if you're coming to the concert.
You can pass the the $15 on the night itself.
If not I'll catch you all at the Three Choirs Concert on Monday night and at the
ACJC Choral workshop this Thursday through Sunday.
ACJC will be the Choir-in-attendance at KKMC this Sunday I believe so come
worship with us if you can.
See you guys around
and keep those tags coming if you visit!
