backward glances. / 11:54 PM
A very merry blessed Christmas everyone.
But it is with a slightly heavy heart that I type this entry.
Christmas has come and gone and this marks my very last carolling
with the ACJC Choir because I leave to study next year and I must
say this realization doesn't come without a fair amount of heartache.
However I guess sorrow isn't really the order of the day considering
what the choir has done in my life over these many years and
even as I sang with new and old faces alike for the last time this year
I silently thanked God for His providence and His love.
So Choir Of My Heart, as I continue with you in your journey for as long
God allows me to it is my prayer you will continue to be blessed and to
bless others with your music and your passion and your integrity for many years
to come, long after people like myself have come and gone.

On a lighter note I'll just post some fun photographs I took at the recent
barbecues I had in the past month. Let me say that all this Christmas eating
isn't great for health but really why pass up a good meal when tis the season
to be jolly no? I'll update very soon again with pictures from the ACJC carolling
stretch once I get my hands on some pictures but for now these will just have to do.
The master chef.
This is taken from the chalet barbecue my church friends and I had.
Lots of kids around so I just took charge of the cooking in case they ruined
my raw food that I prepared and brought haha. Yes control freak.
I ended up cooking from 6pm to 11pm. My right hand was half-cooked.
FC Brothers.
Here's some of my cell group with my leader Melvin on the right.
A bit unglam but that's not my fault. It was a chalet right?
@ the Chalet.
Here's the rest of it. Very random photographs.

The next group of photos is from the party we had at my voice teacher's place.
We have this party every end of year anyway so this year was not exception.
Lots of laughter, lots of food and lots and lots of alcohol.
Yes we were happy that night.
Ms Jeong's Army.
That's the whole lot of us who showed up that night. I'm quite sure some may
even have left by the time this picture was taken and there were tons of her
students that couldn't come that day... well I didn't know she had that many
students either. But honestly I say sometimes having too many people in
a small area kills the fun. Maybe I'm just anti-social? Hahaha.
Party time.
The night progressively got more party-like.
Shridar and me... a little confused.
There's Shridar having his nth glass of wine, and me looking terribly innocent.
What's happening?
This was how things pretty muched looked by the end of the night.
Well good fun good fun.
Eh?
Well if you couldn't tell by now I'm just being trigger happy with the photographs
and I don't really have much to say.
The main crux of what's on my mind now was in the first paragraph, the rest
of this post other than the beautiful photos is pretty much just fluff.

Well for most of us it's back to work soon and I wanna wish you guys all
the best and I look forward to working with lots of you next year as I hopefully
countdown the days to my departure. But before then, I believe that's still lots
to be done and I can't wait.
There's news of a concert we're staging possibly in Febuary
performing Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe and the Bastien
Und Bastienne opera will probably be produced in May next year.
Check back for more updates okay?
Next post I'll go dig for some carolling photographs.
Send them to me if you have them!
See you soon and Merry Christmas!
